Who am I?
Great question. The definition you’re likely looking for can be found by clicking the LinkedIn icon below.
Here are the points that didn’t make it to LinkedIn:
- I’ve always loved stories. I wrote them as a kid and authored/directed Snow White and the Three Stooges for my high school drama class.
- I never considered advertising a career until I sat in for a friend in an Intro to Advertising class. The lecture was on the impact of Volkswagen’s “Lemon” ad. I changed majors the next day.
- I was a freelance writer for nearly a decade earlier in my career. I saw it as a gift to myself to write for a living. The true gift was being home for my two boys during their formative years.
- I watch Steve Jobs’s introduction to the “Think Different” campaign on YouTube annually. It’s a master class on branding that comes straight from the heart.
- I’m proud to be a licensed pilot. I will always be fascinated by the art and science of flying, the people in the aviation industry and the complexity of the machines and systems that make it work every day.
- I can’t find words for the joy I feel that my wife of nearly 25 years still wants me around and that, despite being an empty-nester, my sons still let me be a dad occasionally.
